STAY
Dinarobin Beachcomber Resort
The nature across the island offers various backdrops, but my favorite place is Dinarobin Beachcomber Resort located right by the foot of the Avatar-looking Le Morne mountain. I love its endless beach line, gorgeous golf courses and number of activities available that will be ideal for an adventure looking soul as well as families with kids.
"You should absolutely try local Langoustines, they are so tender and flavorful you will be thinking about them as one of the highlights of your trip, that’s guaranteed "
SWIM
Trou aux Biches, Le Morne Peninsula.
The West Coast is generally warmer and calmer, meaning this is perfect for those looking for a peaceful and sunny beach holiday.
Lolita's Mauritius Travel Essentials
Fuji X100V Camera
- it’s fairly compact but delivers highest quality photos that I print into polaroids when we come back home.
SPF
- it’s a must at home, it’s a must when I travel, I love non sticky formulas that give body a beautiful glow but also protect. I love using Ultra Violette for face and Sensai for body.
Smythson leather passport holder
- it’s like a wallet where I keep all the travel documents and forms, I love that everything is in one place and it looks incredibly classy and chic.
HOW TO DRESS
Depending on how active you are, it can be a very chilled and almost barefoot beach vacation for which you would only want to pack bikinis (Paper London, of course!), oversized shirts to cover up and few satin dresses for the dinners. But if you are more adventurous type, then surely pack for hiking, golf and sunrise yoga sessions.
