Our story

Founded in London by Philippa Thackeray — former lawyer — Paper London began with bold, graphic ready-to-wear for women who didn't want to disappear into the crowd.

Then came a swimsuit. One piece, one collection, and an extraordinary wave of preorders that made the decision for us. The brand followed the woman, and she was heading somewhere warm.

The Maldives silhouette — cut in ECONYL® regenerated nylon, now in its tenth year — has become the piece we're known for. Every collection still carries the same London energy it always did: bright, considered, and completely uninterested in blending in.

Alongside it, a series of destination wear capsules — each one designed to fold into a weekend case and arrive looking like it didn't. Dresses, cover-ups, resort separates and pieces that work from the pool to the restaurant without a second thought.
